Miz recently dropped the IC Title to Kofi Kingston, this was done to help solidify Kingston as a top mid-card star and free up The Miz to work in higher profile feuds. At this time, Miz is not expected to be put back into the title picture, but the plans are for him to face other top talents and get back on track as one of the companies top talents for the future.

In the eyes of the WWE officials, Miz has been doing business the right way, and they are pleased with his consistent improvement in-ring and on the mic. He is also praised for his willingness to do the intense media schedule to promote the company.
