WWE House Show 11.08.12 - Dublin, Ireland
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 11.08.2012

Credit: Shane Byrne & PW.net

A slightly disappointing show in summary for the 80 euro (almost 90 dollars) I paid for my ticket. Approximate attendance: 7,000. The show kicked off on time.

1. Brodus Clay (w/Naomi) beat Primo (w/Rosa) in 8:00. Clay used a splash for the win. He danced with Naomi and two kids from the audience.

2. Zack Ryder beat Epico (w/Rosa) by DQ in 2:00. Primo interfered for the DQ. Brodus Clay to the rescue.

3. Zack Ryder and Brodus Clay beat Primo and Epico (w/Rosa) in 9:00. Standard tag match. Low Ryder on Primo for the win.

4. Eve beat Layla and AJ in Triple Threat to retain the WWE Divas Championship in 12:00. AJ pinned Eve with a roll up, Vickie Guerrero arrived and ordered the match to continue because AJ touched the ref. Eve attacked AJ from behind and gained the pinfall to retain the championship.

5. John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie) in 27:00. Match of the night. Vickie was ejected in the early going. The match went back and forth. Cena went for the AA and bumped the ref. Vickie reappeared and tried to hand Ziggler the MITB briefcase, but AJ hit the ring for the save. Cena thanked AJ and swept her into his arms for a kiss, but before the kiss could happen Ziggler hit the ring. Cena scooped up Ziggler for the AA and the win.

Intermission (merch break)

6. Tensai beat Michael McGillicutty beat Tensai in 8:00. Lots of Albert/Mr. Perfect chants, McGillicutty rolled up Tensai for the win. Tensai looked very frustrated.

7. Team Hell No beat Rhodes Scholars to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship in 18:00. The usual shenanigans of YES/NO and Hug it Out from Team Hell No, who were very over. Rhodes Scholars played their part in a very entertaining tag match. Bryan made Sandow tap to the No Lock.

8. Ryback defeated C.M. Punk (w/Paul Heyman) by DQ in a WWE Championship match in 12:00. There were Goldberg chants at the beginning but they soon stopped. Ryback won by DQ after interference from Primo and Epico. Very poor finish to the main event. The ring filled up with heels and faces from the earlier matches. The faces cleared the heels from the ring. Ryback was left in the ring to celebrate his DQ win.
