WWE Announces The Muppets, Kid Rock for Tribute to the Troops
– WWE has officially announced the details for the 2012 Tribute to the Troops special. The special will air in a two-hour format on December 19th on USA Network and a one-hour version on December 22nd on NBC. The show will feature Kid Rock and Flo Rida, as well as appearances by Michelle Beadle of NBC Sports and The Muppets, and will be taped in Norfolk, Virginia. Vince McMahon, The Miz, Eve, Layla and R-Truth will also be heading overseas for a separate goodwill visit to US troops, which will be chronicles on the special.
WWE stated in the press release, “WWE is proud to have worked jointly with Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell in selecting Navy installations in the Norfolk, VA area for this annual celebration.”
