DDP To Receive Wrestling Hall of Fame Award

– The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum has announced that Diamond Dallas Page will be this year’s recipient of the Frank Gotch Award at the 2013 George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame weekend. The honor, which is given to a wrestler “who brings positive recognition to professional wrestling through work outside the ring,” will be awarded to Page the weekend of July 12th and 13th, 2013.

Currently announced as inductees for the Class of 2013 are Ric Flair, “Cowboy” Bill Watts, and Chris Taylor. The winners of the Lou Thesz Award, George Tragos Award, and Jim Melby Award will be announced in the coming weeks.
