WWE News: Developmental Wrestlers Released, Kofi Kingston Talks His Match With Zack Ryder, and More

Some Saturday news as some more WWE developmental talent hits the chopping block and more...
- The roster page of WWe's official NXT website, FCWWrestling.info, now no longer lists Chase Donovan or Nick Rogers. This is a likely indication that WWE has released talent.
Donovan is a 27-year-old New England wrestler who signed with the WWE earlier this year after moving to Florida to become a bodybuilder. Donovan had previously competed on the independent circuit from 2004 to 2009 as Bryce Andrews.
Rogers is a Canadian wrestler who signed with WWE last year. Rogers billed himself as a physical specimen though was possibly undersized by WWE standards. He'd not been used much as of late.
- The two join Chad Baxter and Louis Fontaine who were also released from their developmental contracts with WWE earlier this week.
- Kofi Kingston remarked on his match with Zack Ryder on Saturday Morning Slam on Twitter. Kofi wrote:
"Tomorrow on #SaturdayMorningSlam: a friendly sparring session between me and Long Island Iced-Z @ZackRyder. Tune in! 10am on the CW #Vortexx."
- WWE developmental workers Anya, Audrey Rae, Charlotte, Paige, Sasha Banks and Summer Rae paid a visit to Dunbar Elementary School in Florida on Friday. The potential future Divas talked about their stories and answered questions.
