Bret Hart Comments on The Undertaker’s Character Change and The Attitude Era

November 24, 2012 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

– Here are some of Bret “The Hitman” Hart’s additional quotes from his interview with the Canadian Press. Hart revealed that 1997 was the best time for him and had some of the best matches and PPV main events he put on:

On the Attitude Era: “The titles really seemed to mean a lot to the wrestlers in the Era. Winning and losing and being on top was sort of critical.”

On the Undertaker changing his character: “Whereas in the beginning, he was kind of like Frankenstein, kind of moving around slow and ponderous in the ring, and was very methodical. But times changed and by the mid 90’s, Undertaker had revamped his whole character.”
