Various News: EVOLVE Update, John Morrison Working DGUSA Show

December 7, 2012 | Posted by Larry Csonka

– DGUSA & EVOLVE sent out the following today…

The Road To WrestleCon is intensifying. Tomorrow is EVOLVE 18. Not only is there a huge DGUSA Title Match with Johnny Gargano vs. Sami Callihan, but there will be major ramifications on the EVOLVE Title Tournament set for WrestleCon. We have major breaking news as the Road To WrestleCon will now go through California with John Morrison confirmed!!! This WWNLive Alerts is loaded! Let’s get to it….

December 7th: Here’s some quick links so you can watch or attend tomorrow’s EVOLVE card:

-Be there live by getting tickets here or by calling 267-519-9744 .
-Pre-order the live iPPV with three pricing options here.
-Take a bus trip from NYC and see both EVOLVE & CZW Cage Of Death here.

Please note it is a special 4pm EST. belltime since it is a doubleheader with CZW Cage Of Death (both events are a separate ticket). EVOLVE tickets will be available online until tomorrow morning. We will refund the shipping and have your tickets at will call. We highly recommend ordering now if you want reserved 1st row tickets for just $30, as there are only a few left. We will also have tickets available at the door on the day of the show.

December 7th: The participants in the EVOLVE Title Tournament at WrestleCon will be determined and seeded according to Records. This makes tomorrow’s event even more important because it is one of the final chances for competitors to improve their Records. The stakes are even higher because eight wrestlers will have a chance to gain two wins tomorrow. There will be four singles matches with the winners moving on to a Four Way Freestyle later in the card. Someone will pick up two wins. Someone will go .500. Four athletes will lose ground. Here is a look at all four matches and what everyone has on the line:

Chuck Taylor (9-4) vs. Jon Davis (4-3) Chuck Taylor has the most wins and best record in EVOLVE. He can lock up the #1 seed in the EVOLVE Title Tournament with victories on Saturday. Jon Davis needs the wins to keep from falling back to Jigsaw Needs To Have His Hand Raised Twice Tomorrow .500. Two wins will make Davis a top seed for the title.

Jigsaw (1-2) vs. Rich Swann (1-2)
This match is crucial for both Jigsaw and Swann, who have identical 1-2 Records. Two wins could propel either into the tournament. However, a loss and 1-3 Record means they might not even make the field

AR Fox (6-4) vs. Tony Nese (2-3)
A couple of wins could spring Fox right to the head of the class as the top seed. A loss puts him him close to .500 and right in the middle of the field. Nese has a golden opportunity here to get above .500 and right into title contention. A loss could be devastating to his chances to be in the tournament.

Masada (1-0) vs. Papadon (0-0)
Neither comes into this match with a loss, so this is a great opportunity to pick up two wins and have a perfect winning percentage. Since both are relative newcomers, wins are the most valued commodity as they try to get in the EVOLVE Title Tournament.

Conclusion
As you can see this Saturday’s EVOLVE event will have major ramifications on who will become the first EVOLVE Champion on April 5th. All eight competitors have a golden opportunity to give themselves a high seed in the tourney field. However, a loss could knock some of these athletes out of consideration to be in the tournament. Records are key in EVOLVE.
