- Al Snow will be wrestling Billy Gunn for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling. Snow is a trainer and agent for TNA, and Gunn was recently hired as a trainer for WWE NXT.
- There are no TNA live events this weekend. The company is off until the December 29th and 30th events in Poughkeepsie and Albany, New York.
- Former WWE wrestler Johnny Jeter of the Spirit Squad turns 31 years old today.
- There are no pro wrestling shows listed for ESPN Classic this weekend.
- Sean Waltman posted the following via Twitter about Jerry Lynn's retirement match..
