WWE News: Smackdown Social Media Scores, WWE YouTube Traffic Improves This Week

December 22, 2012 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

– This week’s WWE Smackdown replay on Syfy scored 31,559 in social media activity. This is about half of the 2012 average on Friday nights. Smackdown was ranked #3 on cable TV Friday night, trailing a big number for the Bulls vs. Knicks NBA game and Nick’s SpongeBob SquarePants show.

The replay score was ranked #4 out of 5 replays this year. Only the April 13 replay of the April 10 post-Wrestlemania 28 special drew a lower social media activity score. (Credit: Trendrr.TV via PWTorch)

– WWE’s YouTube views increased 20 percent for the week of December 13-19. This included the TLC PPV pre-show. According to the weekly YouTube rankings on Deadline, WWE drew 5,665,656 weekly views which was up 20% from the 4.74 million views of the previous week. The TLC views did not top the Survivor Series week though. For the week of November 15-21, WWE drew 6.39 million views on YouTube. (Credit: Deadline.com)
