Injury Updates on CM Punk, Evan Bourne and Curt Hawkins

December 31, 2012 | Posted by Larry Csonka

– CM Punk is still scheduled to face Ryback in a TLC match on the January 7th edition of WWE Raw. At this time there is concern over Punk’s surgically repaired knee, and whether he will actually be medically cleared to participate in the match that night. On this week’s edition of WWE Main Event, WWE is expected to reveal whether or not Punk will be in the match. There will be an announcement on Raw tonight regarding what will happen if Punk can’t compete.

– When asked about his status on Twitter, Evan Bourne posted the following…

“If you didn’t know, the Royal Rumble is my personal favorite PPV/match! But no matter how hard I train, my foot will not be ring ready by RR”

– Curt Hawkins, who has been out of action since October with a torn PCL and meniscus, posted the following on Twitter…

“Did some @DDPYoga this weekend for the first time since my injury. Felt great. I’m at the end of my recovery for certain.”
