ROH News: ROH Announces More Matches For January 5 Taping, Update on Shelton Benjamin

Will Shelton appear this month?
- Ring of Honor has announced more matches for their first TV taping of 2013 in Baltimore on January 5. These include ROH TV champion Adam Cole vs BJ Whitmer for the title. Michael Elgin will face Mike Bennett (with Maria and Brutal Bob), Matt Hardy will be in singles action and there will be a four-team tag gauntlet match.
- ROH also said in their latest Newswire that Shelton Benjamin will not appear in any of their January shows. This is part of an injury angle while Benjamin evaluates his future in wrestling. His tag team partner, "The Outlaw" Charlie Haas, will appear on all January shows.
