Various News: Count Billy Varga Passes Away, Jerry Lynn’s Last NYC Match Set, $5 Wrestling Main Event

– Professional wrestler and actor Count Billy Varga passed away a few days ago at the age of 94. You can read more about it here.

– Jerry Lynn will have his last match in the New York City area on February 24th in Long Island against Papadon for New York Wrestling Connection. The match will take place at Psycho Circus, their biggest show of the year. Also set for the show is Tony Nese vs. Trent Baretta. To find out more about the show, check out this link.

– $5 Wrestling’s main event for their February 1st iPPV will be a street fight between Cliff Compton and Big Donnie.

– David McLane’s Women of Wrestling promotion had their first TV taping in Las Vegas over the weekend; it was headlined by Tag Team champions Caged Heat taking on Santana Garett & Amber O’Neal.
