Edge Sponsors Up and Coming Wrestler via Scholarship
– Former WWE star Edge is sponsoring a wrestling scholarship for an up-and-coming wrestler, Steven Walters. Walters, 25, will wrestle for and train with the Zero-One promotion in Japan. Edge’s scholarship program is through clothing line company Bumpdrunk.com. Here is what Edge had to say about the scholarship…
“Steven is the first and most likely only guy outside of WWE who I’ve kind of taken under my wing. If I didn’t think he was a great kid with a great attitude I wouldn’t have anything to do with him.”
