Final Update On TNA’s Lawsuit Against WWE
The TNA lawsuit against WWE was officially closed and dismissed on January 22.
The judge ruled that the case was closed without prejudice, which means it could be re-opened later. However, it’s unlikely that will happen, since TNA was able to get a permanent injunction against former office worker Brian Wittenstein to prevent him from using any confidential TNA information he stole. There was never any proof that WWE kept or used the material Wittenstein passed on to former WWE executive John Laurinaits.
Each side will cover their own legal costs and TNA will have to pay the court’s costs.
