WWE News: More on Intercontinental Title Cup Cancellation, Network Ratings

January 30, 2013 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

– When WWE decided to cancel the Intercontinental Cup tournament less than a day after it was promoted on Raw, it was reportedly just the latest example of the booking team changing things up on the fly. The decision was made so that Wade Barrett could continue his feud with Bo Dallas.

– USA won the cable TV ratings race for the week with an average of 2.87 million viewers; last week’s hours of Raw ranked at #4, #5 and #9 among all hours of cable TV. Disney was #2 with 2.44 million average viewers and TBS was #3 with 2.17 million. F/X ranked #67 at 1.65 million.
