Event was poorly run. Fans had to stand in line for over an hour just to get through the first set of doors and then had to wait in shifts to take escalators to enter the convention floor. Only one concesstion stand available. Bell time was 7:30 and they began to allow fans to enter around 6:55 PM. The event started 5 minutes late at 7:35 PM. When security was asked why the delay, the answer was they were still setting things up. Sure enough, as fans entered the convention floor, roadies were still constructing the entrance way.

It was announced to the fans while they waited and entered that Velvet Sky would be available for photos and autographs at the merchandise booth. Sky appeared until about 7:15, however, most fans had not yet entered the floor to take advantage of the opportunity.

1. Christian York defeated Alex Silva by pinfall. Lots of cheap heat on southern men & women on the mikes before the stalling match began.

2. Tara defeated Velvet Sky by pinfall to keep the Knockout women’s championship. Good high spot was Bryan Hebner breaking apart the gals by grabbing their breasts. Tara acted offended while Velvet acted delighted. Tara won by illegally using the ropes for the pin. Velvet then gave Tara a nasty pedigree and laid her out.

Earl Hebner was brought out to his own intro music and a huge buildup as the greatest referee in pro wrestling history.

3 & 4. Chavo Guerrero defeated Christopher Daniels by DQ thanks to interference by Kazarian. Following the match, Hebner ordred an impromptu tag team match when Hernandez assisted. Daniels & Kazarian were given a 10 count to return to the ring or they would be suspended. The pair made it back to the ring in time and then lost to Guerreo & Hernandez by pinfall thanks to a frog splash by Guerrero.

5. Cowboy James Storm defeated Austin Aries by pinfall. Lots of beer spots on the part of Storm as Aries used the old weapon in the trunks bit. Following the match, Storm sprayed beer all over the fans and then dumped beer on Hebner’s head in the middle of the ring.

An intermission was announced while the 15 foot steel cage was put together for the main event. During intermission, Earl & Ryan Hebner along with Tara signed autographs and posed for photos at the merchandise table which drew nice long lines. They also announced that Earl Hebner had officiated over 100,000 pro wrestling matches in his career, a record that would never be matched.

6. TNA World Champion Jeff Hardy defeated World TV Champion Devon by pinfall in a steel cage match. Great near falls by both. Following a crucial ref bump, the gate was opened and a hooded masked wrestler helped Devon put Hardy in a bad way. Bully Ray then raced to the ring to assist Hardy in obtaining the pinfall just as Brian Hebner recovered.
