Extreme Rising Hypes WrestleMania Weekend Events

– Extreme Rising sent out the following today…

Extreme Rising Pro Wrestling heads to Staten Island, New York for two back-to back live events that will feature a unique audience participation concept for both events –Friday, April 5th “Unscripted” and Saturday, April 6th “Underground” –where the fans attending will pick the wrestlers, the match stipulations, and will also include a fan fest with free autographs and pictures, as well as free beer for Friday’s event.

Extreme Rising debuts Friday, April 5th and Saturday April 6th at the “Warriors of Wrestling Warehouse” located at 56 Van Street in Staten Island, NY with a 7:30pm bell time for each night. There are only 250 tickets on sale for each night. There will be no tickets available at the door. Seating is determined in the order tickets were purchased. There are limited seats in the building, with the remainder of space being standing room. The venue is 17 miles from the Meadowlands Expo Center where Wrestlecon is taking place and can be accessed by taxi.

Both Extreme Rising events Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th will be available live on iPPV. Full details on the Extreme Rising iPPV, and ordering information coming soon.

Upon entering the warehouse each evening, fans will be given ballot forms to fill out. Fans will pick the wrestlers and the matches for the event. Three fans will be chosen to tally the results in front of an Extreme Rising owner. “The balloting will make for a very unique night as the fans will pick the wrestlers and the stipulations, which could lead to some wild matches” states Shane Douglas.

The following is a list of “Talent Confirmed” to appear on April 5th and April 6th. This list will be updated soon, and there should also be a surprise or two each night also… “Extreme Rising World Champion” STEVIE RICHARDS, SABU, SUPER CRAZY, DAMIEN 666, HIJO DE REY MISTERIO, DEVON STORM, LUKE HAWX, GREEK GOD PAPADON, HOMICIDE, BESITA 666, PESADILLA, FAÇADE, BALLS MAHONEY, “Special Guest Referee” JERRY LYNN, “THE FRANCHISE” SHANE DOUGLAS, and more to be announced.

The following is a list of “Match Stipulations” that will be in play for both nights… World Title Match, Cage Match, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, Weapons, Street Fight, 2 out of 3 Falls, Submission, Falls Count Anywhere, Tag Team, 3 Way Dance, No DQ, Singapore Cane, and who knows what else, as anything can happen at Extreme Rising events.
