* 3.0 (Scott Parker & Shane Matthews) defeated Devastation Corporation (Blaster McMassive & Max Smashmaster) in Best 2 of 3 Falls Match to retain the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas.

* Chikara Grand Champion Eddie Kingston pinned Amazing Kong in a non-title match.

CHIKARA Thoughts:

The advertised bell time was 7:30 but the matches didn't start until 8:00. The final match didn't end until around 11:20, making it a very long night especially for those with small children.

Sean Waltman came out his DX entrance music and wore same green/black X-Pac outfit he wore during his WWE run. He cut a promo after his match expressing gratitude to the fans and to Chikara. He also admitted the years were catching up to him, pointing out his bald spot. He then posed for pictures and signed autographs at intermission, all free of charge.

Just about the entire roster was out by the merchandise tables during intermission and they all seemed very nice and glad to be in Tampa and out of the northeast.

WWE contracted talents Ricardo Rodriguez and Evan Bourne were among those in attendance.

This was my first CHIKARA show and have to admit it was very different from any of show I've attended. The work in the ring was very fast paced and it seemed the entire crowd (especially the regulars who probably traveled hundreds or thousands of miles to attend) was into the show from start to finish. I highly recommend experiencing a CHIKARA show at least once.
