Championship Roll Call:
TNA WORLD CHAMPION: Bully Ray
TNA TELEVISION CHAMPION: Devon
TNA X-DIVISION CHAMPION: Kenny King
TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero
TNA KNOCKOUTS CHAMPION: Velvet Sky
TNA KNOCKOUTS TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Eric Young and ODB

Over the past two weeks The Aces & Eights, led by its President (and TNA World Champion) Bully Ray, have made their way through the TNA roster, injuring and eliminating anyone they perceive to be a threat. With TNA’s back against the wall, Ray has called out GM Hulk Hogan to meet with him face-to-face in the center of the ring this week; does Hogan have something up his sleeve or will he admit defeat? Also on the show this week two championships will be on the line as Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez defend the Tag Team Titles against former champs Austin Aries & Bobby Roode and Velvet Sky defends the Knockouts Title against the new #1 contender Mickie James. All that, plus more AJ Styles intrigue, comes at you this week on IMPACT Wrestling, live from the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex in Indiana, Pennsylvania!

PREVIOUSLY ON IMPACT WRESTLING: The Aces & Eights destroys the heroes of TNA, Sting sent packing by former bff Hulk Hogan, AJ Styles walks away from a fight.

—–

The Aces & Eights, led by Bully Ray, are stopped by three security guards outside of the arena. Ray scares them off and they barge their way in.

—–

We go live to the Kovalchick Complex in Indiana, PA as Todd Keneley welcomes the home audience. James Storm makes his way out to open the show, and we see clips of his match against AJ Styles last week. Storm is sporting a slight limp from Styles’ new submission hold. Storm says that he asked Styles for a fight last week and he certainly brought it. A spotlight shines on AJ Styles who is standing in the crowd. Storm admits that Styles was the better man last week but he’s not going to cry over spilled milk because he’s a beer drinker. Storm calls out The Aces & Eights for retribution due to last week’s attack, and tells them to bring as many as they want because he’ll take at least one or two of them out.

Instead of The Aces & Eights out come Bad Influence. Christopher Daniels says he and Frankie Kazarian want to weigh in on last week’s attack. Daniels says Hulk Hogan may have a robust mustache but he doesn’t have an answer to The Aces & Eights problem. Daniels says he and Kazarian know the answer to the problem and it’s FOUR…TUNE (seriously). Kazarian grabs the mic and tells Styles to forgive himself for cheap shotting he and Daniels last week because they forgive him. Kazarian then says Styles needs to head to the ring right now and join his boys in reforming Fortune.

Storm says no one wants Bad Influence to “throw it up”, they want to see them “shut the hell up”. Kazarian calls Storm “Travis Tritt” and says the people don’t concern him or Daniels. Kazarian calls Storm “irrelevant” and Storm immediately goes on the attack. Kazarian connects with a low blow kick to stem the tide in he and Daniels’ favor. Bad Influence exits the ring as Storm rolls around the ring in pain.

The Aces & Eights theme kicks up and out they come through the crowd (sans Devon and Bully Ray). Mr. Anderson grabs Storm as Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco pull out a table. The Aces & Eights set it up and Anderson goes to power bomb him through but out comes Joseph Park to the rescue. Unfortunately the numbers game results in a Park beatdown. D.O.C. and Knux goozle Park as Bully Ray and Devon head into the ring. He tells them to back off then he and Devon put Park through a table with the 3D. Ray holds up the TNA World Heavyweight Title and The Aces & Eights stand in celebration as we go to commercial.

Joseph Park is stretched out from the ringside area as Bully Ray tells the crowd he told them he and The Aces & Eights aren’t screwing around. Ray asks the crowd “do you know who we are?”. Ray says they are the men responsible for all the carnage in TNA and taking out every single one of the crowd’s heroes. Ray says the people ain’t got no heroes left and the crowd boos. Ray says last week he called out one man and the crowd immediately starts chanting “Hogan!”. Ray says that’s right, he called out Hulk Hogan, his next victim. Ray calls Hogan “Dad” and says he’s got until the end of the show to answer his challenge. Ray concludes with The Aces & Eights tagline and they all pose in the ring, Ray and Devon holding up their belts.

—–

We cut to the announce booth where Keneley is joined by Mike Tenay and Taz. Tenay says Hulk Hogan was here earlier in the day but left an hour before the show began. Taz says there’s no chance he’s going to return. Keneley hypes up the two championship matches signed for this evening, particularly the Knockouts Title match between Velvet Sky and Mickie James.

—–

LAST WEEK ON IMPACT: Mickie James defeats Miss Tessmacher to become the new #1 contender and cuts a post-match backstage promo saying she’s been pushed to the side for the past year and it’s time to change that.

—–

Taryn Terrell makes her way out for the opening contest as Keneley hypes the brand-new Knockouts website. She makes a couple of cowboys in the audience fan themselves with their hats as we go to commercial.

Hulk Hogan arrives back to the arena as the mysterious interviewer asks him where he went. After some poking and prodding, Hogan shuts him down by sternly saying “Let it go!”.

—–

Tara makes her way out as we come back live, sans her Hollywood boyfriend. ODB is there to act as Knockouts ref.

——

Match #1: Taryn Terrell Vs. Tara

Tara gets in Terrell’s face as the bell rings but Terrell unleashes with a flurry of offense including a corner splash. Tara fights back and drapes Terrell midsection-first onto the top rope to take control. Tara whips Terrell to the mat hair-first and ODB admonishes her for it. Tara slingshots Terrell into the corner and she hits hard, crumpling to the mat. Tara slams Terrell’s face into the mat a couple of times then follows up by locking on an Indian Deathlock. Tara lets go and covers Terrell for 2. Tara goes another cover and gets another 2. Tara tries for a third time but once again it’s only a 2-count.

Tara mocks Terrell and picks her up by the hair. Terrell goes for a running clothesline but Tara goozles her and slams her to the mat like a mini-Great Khali. Tara shows off to the Indiana, PA crowd then goes back to work. Terrell fights back with a series of forearms but Tara responds with one of her own and covers for the 1…2…kickout. Tara tries again out of disbelief and again it’s a 2-count. Tara rolls Terrell halfway under the bottom rope and slingshots her throat-first into the cable. Tara rolls her in and covers for the 1…2…kickout. Tara tries two more times but they both result in 2.

Tara slams Terrell to the mat, but misses the slingshot senton legdrop. Terrell fights her way out of the corner and hits a couple of running clotheslines and back elbows. Terrell connects with a snap suplex and heads to the top rope. Terrell goes for a splash but Tara sidesteps it and she hits nothing but canvas. Tara gets her in a Fireman’s Carry position and hits a SPIDER WEB (tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam). Tara sets up for the standing moonsault but takes too long to show off and Terrell rolls her up out of nowhere for the 1…2…3!

Winner [via Pinfall]: Taryn Terrell (6:30)

Robbie E finishes a text backstage and calls Jessie Godderz over. Robbie E says his former friend Rob Terry used to say that Godderz was better than he was and that he’ll prove he’s a better man and bro. Robbie E says by beating Terry tonight Godderz will join the ranks of such bros as George Washington and he’ll be right by his side. Godderz flexes the arm and says he doesn’t need his help.

Rob Terry makes his way out for the second contest of the evening and the crowd doesn’t react with apathy. Robbie E makes his way out and introduces Jessie Godderz as a “real Hollywood superstar” unlike the hamsters in Indiana, PA. Godderz makes his way out to the ring exuding all sorts of arrogance.

—–

Match #2: Rob Terry Vs. Jessie Godderz [w/ Robbie E]

Godderz kisses his bicep and turns around into a series of clotheslines and a back elbow. Terry whips Godderz into the corner and goes to follow up with a slam but Robbie E distracts him. Godderz tries to attack but Terry goozles him and flings him across the ring. Terry goes for a follow-up splash but Robbie E distracts him again and this time Godderz takes full advantage. Godderz chops him down with a series of strikes. Terry fights back but Godderz sidesteps a corner splash and follows up with a dropkick. Godderz lays in some clubbing forearms across Terry’s chest and covers for a 1-count.

Terry pushes Godderz into the corner and he climbs to the second rope. Terry catches Godderz during a crossbody attempt and connects with a powerslam for the 1…2…Robbie E pulls on the ref’s leg. Terry rolls out of the ring and jaws with his former bro, sending Godderz flying into him when he tries to sneak attack from behind. Terry throws Godderz back in and hits the standing spinebuster for the 1…2…3.

Winner [via Pinfall]: Rob Terry (3:07)

Bad Influence catches up with Bobby Roode in the locker room. They try to sell him on a Fortune reunion so they can take on The Aces & Eights. They tell him to “think about it” and exit as Roode appears to mull it over. The camera pans over to Austin Aries who was eavesdropping.

—–

Bobby Roode is prepping to go out for the tag team title match. Austin Aries comes up and brings up what just happened in the locker room. Aries says he heard about it because he has the “greatest hearing that ever lived”. Aries mocks Fortune for disappearing in 2010 and being the man to beat Roode for the World Title last year.

—–

We go back to the arena where Christopher Daniels is sitting in on commentary, Frankie Kazarian merely standing and observing. Austin Aries & Bobby Roode make their way out for the match, Roode looking conflicted and annoyed at Aries’ guilt trip from a few moments ago.

—–

Match #3: Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez (c) Vs. Austin Aries & Bobby Roode for the TNA World Tag Team Titles

Aries and Guerrero start off for their respective teams. The crowd starts an “Austin Aries” chant almost immediately. Aries grabs a wristlock and sends Guerrero to his knees. Guerrero reverses into a waistlock then takes him down with a snapmare. Aries weasels his way out and the two men separate to regroup. They lock up for a second time and Aries grabs a side headlock before transitioning into a double leg takedown. Aries showboats a bit to Roode but gets caught with a dropkick by Guerrero. Guerrero works Aries over in the corner and whips him full-force into the opposite corner. Guerrero connects with a back suplex for the first 2-count of the contest.

Aries reverses an Irish whip but eats a boot during a backdrop attempt. Guerrero attempts a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but Aries just flings him off. Aries tags Roode in and yells at him about Bad Influence. Roode heads into the ring and eats a hip toss from Guerrero. Hernandez tags in and slams his partner on top of Roode before hitting a running splash for a 2-count. Hernandez goes for a backdrop but Roode stops and attempts a suplex. Unfortunately he can’t lift the man up and Hernandez reverses into a suspended vertical suplex. Aries runs in and chops Hernandez who no-sells it. Hernandez picks Aries up and drops him on the mat face-first. Hernandez heads out to the ramp and goes for Air Mexico, but they move out of the way and Hernandez hits the canvas head-first. Roode covers but only gets a 2-count.

Roode works Hernandez in the corner as we see a picture in picture of TNA’s Spanish announce team (Hector Guerrero & Willie Urbina). Aries tags in and hits a slingshot senton after a Roode suplex. Aries covers Hernandez but only gets a 2. Aries boxes the ears and tags Roode in. Aries holds the arm to allow Roode some free shots at Hernandez. Hernandez fights back but gets a knee to the midsection for his troubles followed by a side Russian legsweep for 2. Aries tags back in and hits a flying stomp. Aries applies a front chancery to prevent the tag, knocking Guerrero off the ramp to completely ruin his chances.

Roode tags in and launches Aries into Hernandez who catches him and slams him to the mat. Hernandez takes both men down. Guerrero gets the hot tag and hits the slingshot senton on Aries followed by a tilt-a-whirl headscissors on Roode. Guerrero hits one of the 3 Amigos and hits a somersault kick instead. Roode attacks Guerrero, who connects with a DDT for 1…2…Aries breaks up the count. Hernandez clotheslines Aries sending him out to the floor. Hernandez and Guerrero go for the killing blow but Kazarian interferes and distracts the ref and Guerrero. Roode hits Hernandez with a spinebuster and Aries goes to the top but Hernandez sends Roode into the ropes, causing Aries to crotch on the top and fall to the floor. Kazarian distracts the ref again, allowing Daniels to interfere but he accidentally hits Roode instead. The faces clear the ring and Guerrero finishes Roode off with the FROG SPLASH for the 1…2…3!

Winners and STILL Tag Team Champions: Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez (8:54)

The mysterious interviewer catches up with Matt Morgan who’s in the weight room. Morgan says if Hulk Hogan meets up with Bully Ray, he’s dead. Morgan says he is the one with the solution and he’s headed to the ring to let everyone know about it…after this commercial break.

EARLIER THIS WEEK: TNA holds a press conference in Tampa to announce their upcoming TV taping there next month.

—–

STORYLINE RECAP: Hulk Hogan kicks Sting out of TNA for getting him to trust Bully Ray and dooming the company; Matt Morgan promises Hogan all of his mistakes will come crashing down on him one day.

—–

Matt Morgan’s “Solution”

Matt Morgan makes his way out, water bottle in hand and almost criminally awesome beard on his face. Morgan gets on the mic and says the problems in TNA have all come down to mistakes made by Hulk Hogan, from letting Bully Ray infiltrate the family to not giving Morgan the #1 contendership to the TNA World Title to Jeff Hardy not reclaiming the belt in his rematch. A “Hogan” chant breaks out to stop Morgan for a second. Morgan says before Hulk goes face-to-face with Bully Ray later tonight, he wants to present him with the solution to all of his problems. Morgan calls Hogan out.

“Not Quite the nWo Theme” kicks up and out comes GM Hulk Hogan to a loud ovation. Hogan gets in the ring and takes off his sunglasses and before Morgan can speak, a loud “Hogan!” chant drowns him out. Morgan gets back on track and says Hogan is out of backup and The Aces & Eights are going to eat him up and spit him out if he faces Bully Ray tonight. Morgan presents Hogan with the “ultimate solution”: himself. Morgan says at the end of the day no one wants the opportunity wants it more than he does and he says he can eliminate The Aces & Eights. Morgan tells Hogan he’s his 7 foot knight in shining armor and if given the chance he will Carbon Footprint Ray’s head into the fifth row…for a small price. Morgan says he’ll help Hogan if he names Morgan the #1 Contender and gives him the title match at Slammiversary.

Hogan breaks his silence and says a lot of what Morgan said was true. Hogan says Morgan could get the job done but at the end of the day he was hoping he’d do the right thing instead of asking for something in return. Hogan says he was hoping that Morgan was the second coming but at the end of the day he’s doing it for the wrong reasons. Hogan says handing Morgan the #1 contendership would be a bigger mistake than Bully Ray. Hogan says he knows TNA is in a lot of trouble but he’s going to face Bully Ray by himself no matter what happens. Hogan tells Morgan he’s not handing him anything and that he never heard Andre the Giant come out and whine like a little bitch. Hogan drops the mic and walks off.

Bully Ray is backstage with The Aces & Eights, talking about the 3D to Joseph Park earlier. Ray switches gears to Hulk Hogan and he is in disbelief that he’s coming out alone. Ray makes everyone give them their word that they’ll let him take out his father-in-law by himself.

A plug for “On The Clock” airs, as we can apparently vote for the X-Division Title contender via the website. The choices are Rashad Cameron, Rockstar Spud, and Suicide.

Mickie James makes her way out for the main event of the wrestling portion of the show. Her opponent, TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky, makes her way out second and lets some pigeons loose for the joy of the oversexed audience.

—–

Main Event: Velvet Sky (c) Vs. Mickie James for the TNA Knockouts Title

The bell sounds and the crowd is hot for the main event. They lock up and James takes Sky down for an early 1-count. James applies a wristlock but Sky flips out and takes James down for a 1-count. James then gets a 1-count of her own and they separate to regroup. Sky grabs a headlock then takes James down with a shoulderblock. Sky hits a snapmare followed by a low dropkick for 2. Sky works James in the corner but the latter reverses a corner Irish whip. Sky floats over but falls over when she lands on her injured knee. James tries to capitalize but only gets 2-counts. James applies a leglock to wear down the knee as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

James has Sky in a different leglock as we come back from break. Sky tries to kick out but James wrenches it to stop any offense. James locks on another leghold but Sky reverses into one of her own. James manages to break out and reverse into an STF, forced to break when Sky gets to the ropes. Sky kicks James off and gets an elbow to the side of the head. James gets mad and grabs the leg but Sky kicks her off and hits the two clotheslines. Sky goes for an Irish whip but James reverses it and the former can’t run and falls over due to the pain in her knee. James goes for a clothesline but Sky ducks and hits a Side Russian Legsweep for a 2-count.

James “connects” with an enziguri (wasn’t even close), kips up, and heads to the top. James hits the top-rope Thesz press for the 1…2…KICKOUT. James can’t believe it. Sky fights back and goes for IN YO’ FACE but James fights out and backdrops her. James measures Sky and goes for the MICKIEDT but Sky pushes her off. James responds by going right back at the knee. James goes for a move but Sky comes up with an inside cradle out of nowhere for the 1…2…3!

Winner and STILL Knockouts Champion [via Pinfall]: Velvet Sky (10:56)

We immediately cut backstage where Bully Ray and Devon reflect on The Aces & Eights’ dominance and their own dominance over the years. Ray says that he’s going to be the guy who puts the final nail in the coffin of “Hulkamania”. Ray says they can’t be stopped and Devon testifies to that.

—–

Brooke Hogan catches up with Hulk Hogan backstage who’s taping his wrists. Brooke doesn’t want her father to go out there because of her mistakes and Hulk says it’s about more than that. Brooke says he can’t go out there because he just had knee replacement surgery but Hulk says he has to to prove he’s a “good” man. Hulk gives her his cross necklace and they embrace. Brooke leaves and Hulk mutters “what am I doing?” as we go to commercial.

Hulk Hogan Confronts Bully Ray

TNA World Champion Bully Ray quickly makes his way to the ring and yells for the music to stop. Ray pulls out a piece of paper and names everyone The Aces & Eights have taken out over the past few months of their existence. Ray says there’s only one more to go and calls out Hulk Hogan.

“Not Quite the nWo Theme” kicks up and Hulk Hogan makes his way out, hands taped and ready to fight. Hogan and Ray go face-to-face, nose-to-nose in the center of the ring. Ray yells for the music to shut off and asks Hogan how his knee is doing. Ray says he bets Hogan can’t wait to punch him in the face, hit him with the big boot, and drop the Legdrop of Doom. Ray says that ain’t gonna happen because he isn’t fooled by Hogan. Ray says he sees one thing in Hogan’s eyes: pure fear. Ray says Hogan fears him because Ray reminds him of himself. Ray says he’s the last of a dying breed as a “Hogan!” chant starts up. Ray rhetorically asks Hogan if he ever thought they’d be standing here face to face then tells him he’s the President of The Aces & Eights, the World Champ, his son-in-law, and the man who will end “Hulkamania”.

Hogan says Ray can’t put an end to Hulkamania because Hulkamania will never die (brother). Hogan and Ray drop their mics, the latter spinning his hat around, and get ready to battle. Ray spits in Hogan’s face and Ray gloats as Hogan rips the shirt off. Hogan revs up and points at Ray. Ray points back and says “screw you Dad!”. Hogan blocks a right and hits the rights. He whips Ray into the ropes and Ray bails out to ringside where The Aces & Eights have now come out.

Ray tells The Aces & Eights to surround the ring as he makes his way back in. The lights go out in the arena and when they turn back on Sting is in the ring pointing a bat at Hogan. Ray tells Hogan to do it, egging him on. Sting turns around and points the bat at Ray, knocking his hat off. The Aces & Eights attack and Sting and Hogan take them out. They clear the ring and Sting points the bat at Hogan once more. Sting exits the ring as his music starts playing, Hogan looking shocked. Hogan is left in the center of the ring to think about what just happened as we fade to whatever SpikeTV has lined up next.
