WWE House Show Results 6.01.13: Manchester, NH
Posted by Larry Csonka on 06.01.2013

From 411 reader Ernie R:

Justin Roberts was our ring announcer.

The Verizon Wireless Arena was not remotely close to being sold out, but the crowd was about on par with last June's Smackdown taping. The fans in attendance were hot for the entire show.

R-Truth beat Antonio Cesaro
-Routine opening match. Crowd was completely behind Truth and against Cesaro. Lots of "USA" chants.

Brad Maddox did a good imitation of Vickie Guerrero's "excuse me" to fake out the fans. He introduced Hunico. The sound quality was awful and we could barely understand anything Brad said.

Ted Dibiase beat Hunico
-Very good showing for Dibiase. Both men look ready for a return to active duty on TV. Maddox threw a fit afterwards and ordered Dibiase to face him in a match.

Ted Dibiase beat Brad Maddox in 3 seconds with Dream Street.

Tons of Funk and the Funkadactyls beat The Primetime Players and the Bella Twins
-I went to the merch stand during the match and was informed that the divas botched a few spots (big surprise there). The Funkactyls dispatched the Bellas, leaving Darren Young to get squashed by Tons of Funk. Cue the routine dance celebration with the kids.

Chris Jericho beat Fandango, with Summer Rae
-Lots of stalling from Fandango. This was a No DQ match thanks to fan voting. A kendo stick and steel chair came into play. Jericho pulled out the win with the Codebreaker. Good match.

Bray Wyatt beat Zack Ryder
-Good showing for Bray, even though the fans didn't seem to get his gimmick. It didn't help that we could barely understand his promo before the match.

Sheamus beat Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett via DQ.
-Easily match of the night with both men kicking out of some pretty big moves. Barrett tried to leave during the match but got hauled back into the ring. Barrett hit Sheamus with the IC title to earn the DQ. Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick for good measure. Both men really shined here.

WWE Champion John Cena beat Ryback in a tables match.
-Entertaining main event, with both men throwing the ring steps at one another and missing, causing the steps to break tables. Cena attempted the Attitude Adjustment off the steps, but it was sadly blocked. They teased a Ryback victory, but ultimately Cena won with the AA through a table. I would say the fans were 80% in support of Cena tonight, with the anti-Cena chants getting drowned out.
