CM Punk Looking For Restraining Order Against His Mother

CM Punk has acquired a restraining order against his estranged mother. He claims she constantly asks him for money and threatens to kill herself if he doesn’t do it.

Punk filed legal documents in Illinois. He claims he’s tried to break off his relationship with his mother for over a year “due to repeated financial demands and years of abusive, harassing and threatening behavior.” He’s tried to help his mother, who he says is bipolar, by giving her over $100,000. He said that her “abusive/threatening behavior” got worse when he stopped.

His mother then sent several emails to him which read: “You don’t give a s**t about us. You just care about your money and money hungry/fame hungry friends. You would sell us for a nickel.“

He also says she has threatened to release potentially embarrassing information about arrests from his high school days. He claims she has threatened to commit suicide at least four times in 2012.

He added: “I wish for the harassment to stop and am requesting the assistance of the court in this regards.“

The judge granted a temporary restraining order on June 10. Punk will return to court today to extend it for several years.
