WWE News: Jerry Lawler Has Travel Error, Taz Tried To Get Back In WWE

– Jerry “The King” Lawler was made fun of at Tuesday night’s WWE RAW TV tapings in Laredo, Texas after an incident with his travel. He stayed in Austin after Monday’s RAW and drove three hours in the wrong direction on I-35, ending up in Dallas instead of Laredo. He called WWE and asked them to arrange a flight so he could make it to RAW in time. He was teased by the wrestlers and agents for not making it to the right city after 40 years in the business.

– Before he signed with TNA, Taz tried to get back into WWE. He wanted to return in time for the RAW taping from Brooklyn, New York. He called several people in the company, but Executive Producer Kevin Dunn had no interest. During a recent production meeting, WWE EVP Triple H said, “TNA doesn’t have anyone we need.
