What was planned for The Shield?
- The original main event for RAW in Memphis, Tennessee was Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. The Shield in a Handicap match. Vince McMahon then decided to change the plans and made The Shield vs. The Usos to set up the Triple Threat Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Hell in a Cell with the Rhodes Brothers defending against both teams. Dean Ambrose vs. Daniel Bryan was added to the show at the last minute.
- Dean Ambrose appeared to tweak his knee after he was tossed out of the ring during his match against Daniel Bryan. He was limping backstage after the match, but it's not considered serious.
- After the tag match between the team of Ryback and Curtis Axel and the team of CM Punk and Big E Langston, CM Punk appeared to be hurt backstage.
- Xavier Woods was backstage at RAW, but there were no plans to use him on the broadcast.
