UPDATEDx3: Jerry Lawler Reportedly Hospitalized
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.06.2014

UPDATE 3: The Wrestling Observer reports that Jerry Lawler has been released from the hospital and is at the Baltimore Arena where Raw will take place. No word on if he'll be on the show.

UPDATE 2: PW.net reports that Jerry Lawler passed all medical testing he was given after being hospitalized for chest pains and nausea. Lawler's son became worried when the Hall of Famer began exhibiting the symptoms and notified WWE officials; the company then asked Lawler to go to the hospital as a precautionary measure.

UPDATE: MemphiSport reports that according to sources, Lawler had some blood work done after he was sent to the hospital for chest pains and vomiting. He is said to be doing fine now. No word on whether he will be at Raw.

ORIGINAL: A report at SEScoops claims that Jerry Lawler was taken to the hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where WWE's Old School Raw goes down tonight. The report quotes a backstage source from the show claiming that Lawler was experiencing chest pains and was vomiting this afternoon and once it became clear he needed urgent medical attention he was rushed to the hospital.

As you will no doubt recall, Lawler had a heart attack on September 10th, 2012 during Raw and underwent an angioplasty the day after. There is no word on whether this is related to that and WWE did not immediately respond to a request from 411 for comment.

More on this story as it becomes available; on behalf of 411, our best wishes go out to Lawler if the story is in fact true.
