UFC President Dana White Comments on WWE Using the WWE Network to Broadcast Their Monthly PPVs
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 01.16.2014

- Speaking to reporters at a post-fight media scrum following UFC Fight Night 35, UFC President Dana White was asked about WWE's own new online digital streaming service, the WWE Network, and Vince McMahon's choice to use the network to live broadcast their monthly PPV's. For the UFC online digital network, UFC Fight Pass, the UFC is not using network for their live monthly PPV's. The choice for McMahon to use the WWE Network in this way has caused PPV distributors to threaten to no longer show WWE's events.

White stated: "(WWE head) Vince (McMahon) is a trailblazer. Look at the stuff he's done throughout his career with the WWE and where he's brought wrestling. Who knows, maybe that works for him. It doesn't make sense to me. He's an animal and he's a trailblazer. It's hard to doubt Vince when you see what he's done."
