WWE House Show Results 1.19.14 - Columbus, Ohio
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.19.2014

Thanks to Jordan Gelber for sending these in:

Hi, I attended the house show that was in Columbus, Ohio tonight and thought I'd share the results with you.

1) The Prime Time Players defeated Curtis Axel and Ryback in the opening tag-team match. Solid back and forth match that ended with Titus hitting the Clash Of Titus on Axel.

2) Alicia Fox defeated Aksana in a fan's choice match, with the fans selecting the Divas match over the dance off. A quick match that featured a lot of stalling in the early going. The finish came when Alicia hit a Northern Lights Suplex on Aksana.

3) Xavier Woods defeated Brodus Clay in singles action. The match lasted about two minutes with Xavier hitting Eat Defeat on Brodus Clay.

4) Goldust and Cody Rhodes defeated The Real Americans to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. By far the best in-ring action of the evening and personally the match of night. The match lasted about 10-15 minutes and the finish came when Cody hit the Cross Rhodes on Cesaro. After the match, Cody took off his boot and limped to the outside. No X signs were thrown up, so he probably twisted his foot or ankle.

5) The Wyatt Family defeated Kane in a two-on-one handicap match. Maddox came out before the match and introduced Kane. He then informed us that Big Show could not be here due to traveling issues. He then declared Kane the winner. But, then he decided to put him in action against Erik Rowan and Luke Harper. An okay match that ended with Rowan hitting his closeline for the win.

6) Alberto Del Rio defeated Sin Cara in singles action. A solid affair between the two that featured a lot of great back and forth action and false finishes. The finish saw Del Rio making Sin Cara submit to the Cross Armbreaker.

7) John Cena defeated Randy Orton via disqualification in the main event. Pretty much the equivalent to their other matches. The finish came when Cena set up for the Attitude Adjustment and Orton countered and low blowed him for the DQ.
