Various News: Cody Rhodes Talks Throwback Performers, Another Update on Jeff Jarrett’s Promotion
Posted by Larry Csonka on 01.30.2014

- Newsday posted an article, looking at the rumored Jeff Jarrett promotion, which you can read here. When asked about the promotion, Jarrett stated that, "I can tell you I'm making good progress, so, stay tuned!"

Newsday also reached out to Toby Keith, who has been rumored to be part of the project. His publicist responded, "I still have not heard anything that I can confirm."

- Cody Rhodes was recently on the Least Dangerous Podcast and spoke about "throwback" performers. Here is what he had to say…

"There's a few superstars here in WWE who are what we call ‘Throwbacks.' It's not because that's who they are trying to be, it's because that's the sports entertainment they grew up on. That's what I grew up on, that's what I dreamed of being, and I try and steal as much from that era as I can."
