WWE News: Jake Roberts Never Intended For Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes And Goldust Plans
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.01.2014

- Jake "The Snake" Roberts was never considered for a spot in the 2014 Royal Rumble. He was brought back on Old School RAW so he could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. WWE didn't want to waste him in the Rumble match because they had bigger plans.

- Cody Rhodes vs Goldust is set for Wrestlemania 30, and the two will split up at the Elimination Chamber PPV. Goldust originally signed a deal that would expire right after Wrestlemania. Instead, the contract has been extended until after Summerslam. He will likely become an agent backstage after his run is over.
