The Layfield Report Remembers Jay Leno at WCW Road Wild 1998
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 02.09.2014

- Scott Fishman and The Layfield Report have released a piece looking at the WCW Road Wild 1998 PPV that saw Jay Leno and DDP beat Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, with Leno's recent leaving of The Tonight Show after 22 years of hosting. You can read an excerpt from the story below:

Jay Leno said good-bye for the last time on "The Tonight Show" after 22 years of serving as the show's host.

This brought back many memories of his legendary run and how he helped pave the way for late night. However, one that seems to be overlooked is the night the Chin teamed with Diamond Dallas Page to defeat "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.
