UPDATED x2: John Cena's Injury Status After RAW
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.01.2014

UPDATE x2: According to f4wonline.com, John Cena is not injured. There is no groin injury, and was not told by doctors to take the weekend off. This is all part of the angle in order to give Cena an injury at house shows and heading into Raw.

UPDATE: PWInsider has noted that Cena's injury is a groin strain, not a tear.

Original: - While an injury angle was planned for RAW, John Cena actually suffered a groin tear during the segment on Monday. He had a house show match last night in North Charleston, SC against Randy Orton. He appeared to be sluggish and hurting during the match. He apologized to the live crowd for not giving them a better performance.

Cena was said to be "pretty bad off" but kept going since it's Wrestlemania season. A source said: "No matter what anyone wants to say about him, Cena's the machine - he keeps going."

WWE wanted to pull Cena from this weekend's shows but he refused.
