Is There Concern in WWE Over Who Might Take Over for Vince McMahon?
– A new report suggests that there is concern about who may take over as WWE’s CEO if something were to happen to Vince McMahon. While the common perception is that Stephanie McMahon or Triple H might be the successor, the report says that the “general feeling” in the company is that Stephanie McMahon has taken a step back in the executive aspects while Triple H has great knowledge of the wrestling industry but doesn’t have the same expertise in management and other non-wrestling obligations that the CEO would need to know.
That leaves current WWE executives Michelle Wilson and George Barrios as potential frontrunners. Both of them have their own concerns though, as they don’t have expertise in the wrestling side of things and Barrios isn’t as familiar with the modern media landscape.
