WWE News: The Rock Wants To Be In James Bond Movie, MAD Magazine Mocks Wrestlemania III
– Contact Music reports that The Rock wants to play a villain in a James bond movie, inspired by his grandfather Peter Maivia. Maivia played a driver who fights Sean Connery’s version of Bond in the 1967 movie You Only Live Twice.
Rock said: “I would love to be a Bond villain. I am a huge fan of Daniel Craig and the Bond movies but it seems only right to follow in my grandfather’s footsteps as a Bond baddie.“
– In the latest issue (#527) of MAD magazine, writer Desmond Devlin has a feature on Wrestlemania, in which he makes fun of the myths of Wrestlemania III.
He wrote: “When the immortal Hulk Hogan become the first man ever to bodyslam the 7-foot-4, 520 pound Andre the Giant before 93,173 fans to hand the big man the first loss of his career, it set the all-time record for the most lies in a single sentence.“
