More on Referee Not Knowing Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar Finish
April 18, 2014 | Posted by
– As we mentioned last week, the Wrestling Observer reported that referee Chad Patton was not among the select few who were informed of the finish to the Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match at WrestleMania 30. I know, it sounds a bit far-fetched to me too. The site has updated its story now, stating that there are some backstage in WWE who suspect that either Undertaker or Lesnar may have clued him in while they were in the ring.
The report says that before the match, Patton was taken aside and told to count to three if either had their shoulders pinned, with one exception: if/when Undertaker applied the Hell’s Gate, Undertaker’s shoulders weren’t to be counted until he was done with the maneuver.
