Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.04.2014

- As previously reported, Chikara is set to return on May 25 with the "You Only Live Twice" show. The promotion was bought at auction by Robbie Ellis and revived in February at the National Pro Wrestling Day event. Before that weekend, the film The Ashes of Chikara will premiere at a screening on May 5th in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. The screening begins at 8 PM at the Movie Tavern and will include a Q&A with the film's creators after the screening. It will be released digitally at shop.wrestlingis.com on May 9th and you can get it a day early by pre-ordering. The film soundtrack is available on iTunes and Amazon now.

- The May 25th weekend show is now a full weekend event that kicks off with "LuchaBowl" on May 24th, a fundraiser for the Easton, Pennsylvania chapter of Make-A-Wish. Afterward will be a fan event, titled "Chikara Potluck Cookout Thing" at 4:30 which will lead into Wrestling is Fun's Tag World Grand Prix at 7:30. You can find out more information here.

- The Chikara video game Rudo Resurrection is back on track, with the promotion partnering with Rotary Games for a side-scrolling beat-em-up style game. A Kickstarter is coming shortly; you can find out more here.
