WWE News: Update On Monday Night Wars, More Episodes Of Saturday Night's Main Event Coming, More
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.08.2014

- WWE did not archive the Monday Night Wars preview episode in the VOD section of the WWE Network after it premiered. Programming always appears in the VOD section after it debuts, but WWE may simply be waiting until the end of the free preview week.

- The Monday Night Wars series will officially debut in August.

- Business Insider has a story on WWE's free preview week, calling it a sign that the company doesn't have the 1.4 million global subscribers it needs to make the Network profitable. The article doesn't mention that the Network still isn't available worldwide (just in the United States), but it does look at the "good" and "bad" of Network marketing promotions. It noted that if John Cena vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam (which hasn't been officially announced) isn't a strong hook to get subscribers, then they will be out of look until the Royal Rumble.

- More episodes of Saturday Night's Main Event will be added to the Network after the free preview week is over. There have also been some musical edits to the old shows.
