WWE News: Former Wrestlemania Venue Closing, Next Madison Square Garden Event, More
Posted by Joseph Lee on 07.12.2014

- Fox News reports that the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City will be closing in September. It's one of several closing on the Boardwalk. The casino was a sponsor for Wrestlemania IV in 1988 and Wrestlemania V in 1989, which were both held in Boardwalk Hall next door. This was the start of a relationship between Donald Trump and WWE, leading to his Hall of Fame induction in 2013. The partnership with Trump Plaza led to weekend activities related to Wrestlemania, including a 5K run, a Wrestlemania breakfast event, signings and more. This eventually led to WWE creating the week-long Wrestlemania AXXESS.

- Brian Shield's 30 Years of Wrestlemania book will be released on September 15 through DK Publishing.

- After tonight's WWE event in Madison Square Garden, the next show at the location will be on December 26.

- WWE has released a new Usos t-shirt with the phrase "Usos Crazy!" on it.
