WWE News: Mick Foley To Have Surgery, WWE Hasn't Had Merchandise Problems

Just minor surgery...
- Mick Foley revealed on Facebook that he will have back surgery today. He wrote: "SURGERY TOMORROW. It's a relatively minor procedure that I hope will produce major results – as the pain these past two weeks has just been excruciating. I wonder if the origin of my lower back woes began from having to carry Al Snow through so many matches. Boom!"
- As previously reported, WWE released their Vice President of Venue Merchandising and Operations, Alan Rebhun. While there were reports that he was released for vendor issues at WrestleMania 30 (which he was in charge of), this isn't the case.
The previous report that the vending company is almost broke is mostly untrue, as the company didn't lose as much money as was reported. WWE actually did well at WrestleMania 30, surpassing projections by $300,000. They were only $100,000 away from having the highest merchandise sales in company history. The WrestleMania XXX Superstore brought in $1.4 million in four days. The shortage of money was a reference to a theft in the store. Rebhun wasn't fired for anything he did wrong, but for financial reasons. (Credit: The Wrestling Observer via Wrestlezone)
