Lots of interesting news...
- The first ECW episode was conceded by everyone involved to be a total disaster. Heyman fought with Vince and Kevin Dunn over certain elements, but failed to change their minds. It is said that the great rating for the first episode has convinced Vince to continue in the direction they're going, unless week 2 has a ratings dropoff. It is also said that Vince completely changes his mind on elements of ECW daily.
- The Miz is friends with fellow reality star Johnny Fairplay. Johnny is known to be very irritating. Johnny has a poker game Friday nights, and it is said that Miz is so obnoxious that Fairplay's friends will no longer attend if Miz is going to be at the game.
- Alex Greenfield is the new head writer of Smackdown. Stephanie had been grooming him for this spot since October. Former head writer Dave Lagana has been sent to ECW, and is being called the "insurance policy" because there are people who want Heyman out of the picture. Lagana was a big ECW fan in its' heyday and the belief is that he's also there to report to Stephanie on Heyman's doings.
- Goldust was released from the WWE because he had a court date involving either an ex-wife or ex-girlfriend. He didn't tell the office about it, and missed the Raw in State College, PA because of it.
