- Smackdown on Friday finished with a 2.1 rating.
- In an interview with WWE Magazine, Triple H said that while he does have more power than many backstage, the final decision is always Vince McMahons. He said that he never refuses to lose to people and didn't drop the World Title to Rob Van Dam because nobody asked him to. He also took a few shots at Hulk Hogan, saying Hogan never loses to anybody and that when the time came to do Hogan vs. Shawn Michaels II and the plan was for Michaels to win, Hogan's knee started "bugging" him. He also blasted the internet several times in the interview.
- For those who didn't watch RAW on USA Network last night, the show didn't end up airing until after 12:30PM ET due to the US Open coverage running long.
- The Rock is on the new cover of Men's Health & Fitness magazine.
