Update On Ultimate Warrior's Latest Lawsuit
Posted by Ashish on 09.07.2006

The lawsuit between the Ultimate Warrior and director Alex Wright has been dismissed. The Arizona District Court of the United States sided with Wright's claim that the suit was filed in the wrong jurisdiction since Wright does no business in the state of Arizona. Warrior had filed the suit against Wright after not being happy with the documentary he directed and produced for the Warrior. Interestingly enough, Wright and Warrior have made amends and are working together again. Wright posted the following message on the MattHardyShow.com forums (Wright produces the MattHardyShow.com).

Good evening to you my Friends,

For some time now, many of you have been inquiring as to my status with the lawsuit Warrior filed against me.

Official Decision: On Saturday, September 2, 2006, The Arizona US District Court sent me the official ruling:

Warrior's suit was dismissed, and Im very relieved.

The lawsuit has long been an upsetting experience for me and my financial backers...to say the least.

The most disappointing aspect of the whole scenario, however, was that Warrior's and my relationship had disappeared, along with the film...until now.

Calling Warrior friend again is a powerful feeling, I assure you. Having an 'ultimate' enemy was killing me inside.

I am very happy to announce that Warrior and I are quite back on track and have had many extremely encouraging and friendly phone calls discussing our future together.

Mark my words friends: I will successfully create the one and only exclamation point on Warrior's life, cinematically speaking that is.

This project will unveil a Warrior many never knew existed.

For the record, Warrior is much more than a pile of negative reflections as seen on the WWE's product. The man is a complex and strong willed father and business man, who although doesnt have all of the answers, is quick to admit so with grace and humility.

Warrior may have some strong opinions to the contrary of many, but as do we all. Thats what makes this country great!

Personally, I think Warrior is tremendously funny and well thought out on his own principles. When explained in his own words, Warrior makes sense...taken out of context and attacked, he has been made to look monstrously uncouth.

When you are invited into his home, family, and overall life story...love him or hate him, you will understand him for the first time.

This one promises to be great.

More details to come.
