Various News: Impact Taping, VKM/DX, UFC, More
Posted by Ashish on 12.11.2006

- UFC bought out what was left of the WFA promotion today. The main news from this is that UFC now has access to Quinton Jackson and Matt Lindland, both of whom were under WFA contracts.

- Expected for hour one of the TNA Impact taping tonight is Abyss vs. Ron Killings in a non-title match, Petey Williams vs. Christopher Daniels in a non-title match, and LAX vs. America's Most Wanted.

- TNA is expected to get a lot of mainstream publicity in the coming days regarding the AJ Pierzynski/David Eckstein angle that took place on the PPV on Sunday. ESPN has already requested the footage to use on SportsCenter and virtually all the TV news stations and newspapers in St. Louis and Chicago are expected to cover the story.

- Hermie Sadler of UWF has invited "Michael and Paul" to fight VKM in a $1 million shoot fight at the UWF/TNA show in South Hill, VA on Saturday night since it is only 60 miles from Richmond, VA where WWE will run the Armageddon PPV the next night.
