Eddie finally leaving to WWE!
- According to prwrestling.com, Eddie Colon was told to report to the WWE after the WWC Anniversary Show this year. Eddie left a good impression on the WWE staff after a dark match against Shannon Moore on Smackdown and a match behind closed doors against Val Venis on last week's Raw.
- The WWC Anniversary Show this year will take place at the Jose Miguel Agrelot Coliseum. The facility is the newest and largest in the island and has been the venue used by WWE during their shows in the island. It has also served for concerts from international stars like Ricky Martin, the band Dream Theater and Akon among others. It will be the first wrestling show from a local promotion in that facility.
- WWC has been negotiating with WWE to bring in several wrestlers for the Anniversary Show. Carlito was already given permission to work and WWC is trying to get Umaga, among others, to be part of the show. The rumored main event would be a dream match between Apollo and Carlito.
- The reason Hannibal was turned face is because he is leaving the company soon. Hannibal will return to wrestle and promote in Canada after this run is done.
- The reason "Mr.450" Hammet has been jobbed out and now has failed to appear on WWC events is because he has left the island to work several dates in the United States for indy promotions. His run is due to end in July and then he will be back working WWC full time.
- There is still no word on why Joey Mercury no showed his match against Eddie Colon for Summer Madness. Mercury had even thanked Carlito for finding him work after he was fired during several online interviews(one of which appeared on this site).
