Some Tuesday WWE news...
- Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler were incorrect yesterday when they said that King Booker and Bobby Lashley had never been in the ring together. The two have wrestled in the same match many times.
- The Tuscaloosa News has an article up on Sherri Martel's death, noting that foul play is not suspected in her death but that she did not die of natural causes. She apparently went to bed at her mother's house (where she had been living recently) and was found unresponsive a few hours later. Check out the article here.
- WWE.com is already promoting the following for the three hour RAW on Monday.
"Next week, a very special three hour edition of Monday Night Raw will start at 8/7 CT. Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and ECW are required to attend Raw as the federal investigation broadens into the demise of Mr. McMahon. Every Superstar has begun the finger pointing at their peers, and lead federal investigator Daniel Beck has the task of deciding between fact and fiction. Will Beck find any leads into Mr. McMahon's limo explosion?"
- John Cena and Eugene will be working the 6/26 show of WWE's new developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. The show will be in Tampa, FL at the Dallas Bill.
- Rob Van Dam has a new blog entry up on his website, robvandam.com. In it he talks about America's obsession with celebrities and also teases an update on his "status" next week.
- Here is the latest press release for the next episode of ABC's Fast Cars and Superstars. John Cena will be in the episode.
