WWE Announces Future Episodes of ECW To Stream Online

Another major change for ECW...
WWE has announced that all future episodes of ECW on Sci-Fi will now stream for free on WWE.com. This is obviously a sign that WWE is preparing for the possibility of losing the ECW timeslot on Sci-Fi Network. This, coupled with the decision to have Smackdown and ECW talent now appear on both shows, has many concerned about the future of the ECW brand.
Interestingly enough, Shane McMahon (who pushed heavily to bring ECW back in the first place) originally wanted the show to stream online. The network deal with Sci-Fi didn't enter the picture until Vince McMahon got behind the idea of bringing ECW back.
