The Fabulous Moolah Passes Away

According to WWE.com, Lillian Ellison, known to wrestling fans around the world as “The Fabulous Moolah,” passed away in her home in Columbia, SC, last night. She was 84. She was home recovering from eye replacement surgery and shoulder surgery. From the 1950s throughout the 1980s Moolah dominated women’s wrestling as a champion and booker. Moolah was the most famous women’s wrestler of all time and a WWE Hall of Famer.
