Jim Ross has a new blog entry up. Highlights are below.
On Bobby Heenan: Bobby Heenan, who has had a helluva tough go of it in recent weeks with two surgeries to rebuild his jaw, is in a rehab facility in Florida and is reportedly getting stronger by the day, but still isn't able to talk or to eat solid foods. From what I am told "The Brain" is making the nurses laugh with his physical antics and by what he writes on his blackboard with which he uses to communicate. The Hall of Famer is arguably the greatest manager of all time and was much underrated as a wrestler. Back in ‘93 and not long after I had arrived in the WWE, the Brain, the late Lord Alfred Hayes, and yours truly traveled to the UK to do a TV broadcast from Sheffield. The airline upgraded all three of us to first class from business class and we were the only 3 sitting in first, which was staffed with 3 flight attendants. I don't remember how many liquids we consumed on the long flight, but I do recall that the airline ran out of several "flavors" of spirits. I laughed so hard at Bobby's stories that I had to move to another seat to distance myself from him just so I could get some sleep. Please keep "The Brain" in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to rehab his way back to better health.
On Kim Kardashian appearing at WrestleMania: What does Pamela Anderson, Chyna, and Kim Kardashian all have in common and it has nothing to do with "home videos"? With Kardashian now coming to Wrestlemania, all three ladies will have the "Granddaddy of them All" (there's that term) under their belt…..so to speak. Kim's stepfather is former Olympian Bruce Jenner, who apparently has the same cosmetic surgeon as singer Kenny Rogers, but I digress. Kim's late father was the gentleman who was standing next to O.J. when the innocent verdict was read and whose expression essentially indicated that he had just heard a miracle.
On Floyd Mayweather: I can say somewhat conclusively that I have yet to be in an arena where Floyd Mayweather, Jr. hasn't been booed and for the life of me I don't see that changing. Nor do I see that as a bad thing. The hotter Floyd gets as an antagonist the more, one would assume, fans will want to pay to see Floyd humbled.
On the Hogan divorce: Ah, the Hogan divorce. That's not cool and it will be costly because, if nothing else, it will be costly in the respect that monied lawyers will hit the mother load in this one. The mistress, the kids, the cars, the mansion, the MONEY, etc all reads like one helluva reality show to me. Perhaps too real. After being in divorce court myself (no wise ass remarks please) I do sincerely feel for Hulk and his family, if nothing else, because this has gotten so much publicity and the alleged sordid details of this partnership continue to be "leaked." Of course, I was not a main stream celebrity, nor did I have any where near the cash that the Hulkster has earned over the years, when I ventured into divorce court.
So even J.R. isn't sure if Big Show is the face. Solid booking right there.

I have no problem with Kim K showing up at WM, as long as she wears something that shows off her ass very well. If she doesn't, then I don't want her there. Plain and simple.

Kim Kardashian is some random woman with a lot of money, whose greatest claim to fame is that Brandy Norwood's brother peed on her in a sex tape. That, and she's got an ass so huge, she looks like she's smuggling a midget or two in her pants.
She's actually more useless than Paris Hilton, and that's really saying something.

I'll second that. JR uses his blog as an outlet to peddle his "John Boy and Billy Wannabe" sauces. He acts like he is giving fans an inside look at the business, in fact it comes across more like a PR campaign for WWE with cross merchandising for his products. JR, If you read this: Go fuck yourself already. You are without a doubt the biggest jock sniffer in the history of wrestling.

I love how people come on here and say, "JR just uses his website/blog to sell his jerky and BBQ sauce." You don't say. What was the URL on that site again? Oh, that's right, jrsbarbq.com! OF COURSE the purpose of the site is to sell barbecue! He's said that over and over again. The blog is just a way for him to answer fans' questions as freely as he can without jeopardizing his relationship with his employer. If you don't want to read what he has to say, don't visit the site and don't click any link on this site that starts with "Jim Ross Speaks On..."

JR makes money on his BBQ sauce. People like having money. OF COURSE JR IS GONNA SELL HIS BBQ SAUCE.
On to the next issue, Kim Kardashian. Who Cares. reality shows are getting to the point of bringing back the aristrocary. the idea that if your rich enough and your ancestor was somebody special, you'll be a celebrity. Great, TV has brought back Victorian England into our society.
Next issue, Of course JR isn't going to give a huge inside look, he's old school. All the big wrestling names over 40, probably dislike the rise of smarks and of "insider information". He'll be careful to try to keep up surprises, and not break kayfabe too much.
There's a big problem to "the more fans hate him the more they want to see him humbled" logic JR's using. all the celebrities who see themselves as serious stars never let themselves get booked to lose, I've got respect for K-Fed for letting Cena smash him. but everytime somebody people actually resepct at all shows up at WWE, they win.
Vince is acting crazier in the real world nowadays than he did on TV last year! bad booking, getting celebrity apperances that are actually worse for WM than better. forgetting about the secondary and tag titles. and because it's non title, I have a feeling Maria and Candice are gonna win. Candice I can get, she's become pretty good in the ring, and Maria is better than Ashley or Torrie Wilson, but come on. The IC titlehold is doing money in the bank, The Tag Champs arn't even going to be there, and now the Woman's champ is going to job to Maria!

The guys who are bashing him, did you even bother reading it? And if you did, just because you dis-agree with what he says. Or just flat out hurt because of something he said. Doesn't mean that you I don't know. Have to read it for one. Just stop god damn reading it if you don't like it. And don't bother posting comments. You just come off as an ignorant douchebag.
