WWE News: WM24 Production Details, McMahon, WWE Kids Magazine, More
Posted by Ashish on 03.16.2008

- WWE has been interviewing several comic book industry professionals to work on their upcoming WWE Kids Magazine. The new magazine launches next month.

- Many news outlets picked up the Associated Press story about Vince McMahon getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

- TMZ.com has picked up the story about Jeff Hardy's house burning down.

- The Orlando Sentinel has an article up about the work WWE is putting into the Citrus Bowl to get it ready for WrestleMania 24, including having 100 staffers working 16 hour days. The show will have the biggest pyrotechnics display in WWE history. The set will take five days to take down after the show ends. One of the reasons WWE is putting up their set so early is because they plan to hold production rehearsals. Interestingly enough, Orlando is already pushing to host another WrestleMania, possibly in 2012. Check out the full article here.

Wow... sounds like Wrestle Mania's gonna be an amazing sight. Hope it doesn't rain.

No doubt they would, WM brought about 30 million to Detroit last year. Vince REALLY has made it the Super Bowl of the industry.

"WWE Kids Magazine?" Because if there's one organization that I think of as kid-friendly, it's WWE. Let's see...women posing in Playboy, a wrestler dating/pimping out his sister...It's all about the kids, baby!

I think that's one of the reason's they're putting out a kids magazine. Also Smackdown is HUGE in the childrens demographic...which is why Raw gets all the good "adult" oriented storylines.

Most of WWE's fanbase is kids, so it makes sense, dipshit.

Getting a little defensive because I've pointed out the hypocrisy? Don't take criticism of a company that you have no relation to as personal criticism.
