Even More WWE News: Larry King & WWE vs. TNA, WM24 Shuttle, More
Posted by Ashish on 03.20.2008

- The new date for the WWE-themed episode of Larry King Live is Thursday, 3/27 at 9PM ET. This means the show will go head-to-head with the live Impact that airs that night. Vince McMahon, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Triple H and John Cena are scheduled to appear on Larry King Live.

- There will be free bus shuttles from Orlando to the Citrus Bowl for WrestleMania XXIV provided by LYNX as the city attempts to avoid traffic problems. Information, credit to Billy Krotchsen, is below.

FREE RIDE TO WRESTLEMANIA!

LYNX will operate free shuttle service from Amway Arena and the Central Florida Fairgrounds to WrestleMania XXIV at the Citrus Bowl.

Shuttles will leave the south side of Amway Arena (facing Livingston Street) and the east side of the Central Florida Fairgrounds starting at 2:30 p.m. Mar. 30. LYNX will have 40 buses involved in the shuttles that will run continuously until approximately two hours after the event.

The shuttles from Amway Arena will drop off riders at the corner of Nashville Avenue and Church Street on the northeast side of the Citrus Bowl.

The shuttles from the Central Florida Fairgrounds will drop off riders at Tampa Avenue and Long Street on the southwest side of the Citrus Bowl.

After the event, passengers going back to Amway Arena can catch the shuttle at the drop-off site at Nashville Avenue and Church Street. Passengers returning to the Central Florida Fairgrounds can catch the shuttle at the drop-off site at Long Street and Tampa Avenue.

- LYNX is also giving away tickets to WrestleMania XXIV. For more info or to enter, click here.

When I read in the "WM24 Shuttle"...I thought it was about wrestlers being brought to the ring by the little rings-carts ala WrestleMania III and VI...

Go LYNX! Causing 500 men and women every day to just give in and buy a car!
To their credit, they do this every time the Citrus Bowl hosts anything, which, considering the fact that the Bowl doesn't have a hell of a lot of parking on-site (and considering one who parks downtown would have to walk about a mile, and through our personal East New York, Parramore), is not only considerate of them, but practically required. (I still say we should see if the Chargers or Vikings are interested in a change of scenery -- it's the only way we'll ever get enough cash drummed up for a real renovation, or rebuilding, of the thing).
