ROH News: Whitmer’s Leave, Morishima and Marujufi Return Dates and More
Posted by Larry Csonka on 03.26.2008

- BJ Whitmer's current angle, where he has left ROH is due to him asking for time off. Whitmer explained to ROH officials that he was burned out and needed some time off, which was granted by management.

- Takeshi Morishima and Naomichi Marujufi are both confirmed for the May 10th Hammerstein Ballroom show. Advance ticket sales have gone very well and the company could end up setting an attendance record.

- Joey Matthews is working behind the scenes with a lot of the ROH talent, primarily on ring psychology.

Great to hear about the ticket sales. I'm pulling for them big time, as smaller
companies doing well is nothing but good.

Joey Matthews is great times. I always thought he should've kept the mask and
pulled a Street Fighter Vega gimmick in WWE.

Having been to the Hammerstein, I don't expect their debut show to sell out, but
I have a feeling they will draw 2000 for the venue.

Glad I have my tickets now.

Wonder if they'll have another GHC Title match if Mori is still holding it.
