March 26th: We are headed off to Florida for ROH's two night stand in Orlando at the Orlando Downtown Recreation Complex on 649 West Livingston Street with a zip code of 32801. There will be tickets available at the door on both nights. This Friday's belltime is 8pm and this Saturday's belltime is 7:30pm. Match 28th will be "Dragon Gate Challenge II" and focus on unique interpromotional matches with ROH, Dragon Gate and NOAH. March 29th is "Supercard Of Honor III" and will feature ROH's greatest feuds and rivalries plus the traditional Dragon Gate Six Man Tag Team bout. We looked at the lineup for "Dragon Gate Challenge II" yesterday. Today we have the card for "Supercard Of Honor II" below. Get your tickets at the door both nights to see ROH at its best!!!

March 26th: Make sure to head to your local FYE and Best Buy on April 1st to check out ROH's nationwide DVD releases through Koch Vision. "Bloodstained Honor" and "Stars Of Honor" highlight the best ROH has to offer through the years. Some of ROH's classic matches are re-edited and with new commentary on both these DVDs. Each DVD also comes with a ROH trading card from the first ever set of ROH trading cards. Call your local FYE, Best Buy and any retail store near you and tell them you want to see ROH "Bloodstained Honor" and "Stars Of Honor" from Koch Vision on the shelves.

March 26th: This is going to be a very special weekend for FIP World Heavyweight Champion Roderick Strong and Erick Stevens. Both athletes were born in Florida. They learned their craft and climbed the ladder in Florida. They can both be considered the top Florida bred pro wrestlers. Now they will get to showcase their skills in front of their friends and family for the first time in a ROH ring this weekend. Stevens vs. Strong has grown from a rivalry to a full fledged blood feud. They will be on opposite sides of the six man main event this Friday when NOAH, Dragon Gate & ROH join forces to take on the No Remorse Corps. Then on Saturday it will be Strong vs. Stevens one-on-one for the FIP World Heavyweight Title!!! Strong won the title from Stevens about five weeks ago in controversial fashion, now Stevens will get his rematch this Saturday in Orlando. Get your tickets at the door to see this war!!!

March 26th: There are two new articles on the main page of www.ROHwrestling.com looking at Austin Aries and Larry Sweeney. Make sure to read them to get caught up on all the latest happenings in ROH. These are both a must read if you are going this weekend.

March 26th: The buy 3, get 1 FREE sale on all ROH DVDs will be in effect this weekend in Orlando and starting Wednesday afternoon at ROHwrestling.com. Why are we having a buy 3, get 1 FREE ROH DVD sale? Well, because there are three huge new releases and ROH has recently released all its January events. Watch it for FREE at ROHvideos.com.

March 26th: El Generico & Kevin Steen will continue their pursuit of the ROH World Tag Team Titles on 4/11 in Boston. It will be Generico vs. half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions Rocky Romero!!! If Generico wins this one after Steen defeated Davey Richards earlier this month in Dover, NJ then you can't deny Steen & Generico a shot. Great seats for this event at the conveniently located Boston University campus still remain at ROHwrestling.com.

March 26th: The return to Detroit on April 18th is headlined by two tremendous tag team bouts as The Briscoes take on Kota Ibushi & a partner to be named and The Age Of The Fall of Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black with Lacey battle The Motor City Machine Guns of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin. ROH has decided to add a third main event quality tag team bout. April 18th will now be "Tag Wars 2008" as Kevin Steen & El Generico take on ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness & a partner that will be named next week right here in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire. Who will Nigel find to be his partner?

I have had the opportunity to watch an ROH PPV DVD and IMHO they are a LONG way
from competing with WWE or even TNA. The show I saw had Samoa Joe, MCMG's and a
few other guys who later worked in TNA and it still wasn't enjoyable to watch at
all. There didn't seem to be any announcers and the promos were uber-lame. The
wrestling was OK but really poorly shot. TNA can at least edit the action if
the live producer misses it. I would probably watch it if it were on free TV
near my area but a PPV? No way. Maybe a live show...

Samoa Joe and the Machine Guns have never been on ROH PPV.

Infact, the Machine Guns have only teamed together at an ROH event which was
after Joe had left the company.

Care to share what this magic DVD was?

He seems to have misunderstood that not all ROH events are PPVs. He likely is
referencing an old DVD, probably from '05 or so.

How come whenever someone new watches ROH, their first comment is "They are
a long way from competing with WWE." It's like, yeah, WE KNOW! No one is
saying they are. No one who has been watching them since the beginning are
saying that they are. I think people confuse the ROH fanbase as preferring ROH
over feds like WWE and TNA as them thinking that they are watching
"competition." It's not about competition right now, it's all about
being entertained by some great wrestling, and that's what ROH provides.

Yeah, plus I don't seem to recall any RoH shows that had no announcing at all.

Someone needs to get their facts straight before blindy bashing.

maybe it was prazak and company's lack of any kind of enthusiasm or tone change
that made him think there was no announcing.....

do it live, or don't do it at all. i hate when they call crap that you
wouldn't be able to tell right at the moment they call it. they must watch the
matches over and over before they actually record commentary, because they
usually sound mighty bored....

Anyway you look at it, its WRESTLING. Its a hell of a lot better than TNA and
WWE combined. ROH has better athletes and better wrestling product. Plain and
simple. They don't need to have a set like TNA or WWE just a few cameras and
light around the ring. thats it, just like the good old days. Not sports
entertainment.
